We are looking for a highly skilled and self-driven Full Stack Laravel Developer to join our remote development team. If you are passionate about clean code, scalable applications, and enjoy working in a collaborative yet autonomous environment — this opportunity is for you!
As a Laravel Developer, you’ll be responsible for building and maintaining robust web applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and delivering exceptional solutions to our growing client base. While the position is remote, applicants must be based in Southeast UK for occasional in-person meetups or team syncs.
Key Responsibilities of Stack Laravel Developer
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable Laravel-based applications.
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs and integrate third-party APIs.
- Work on both frontend and backend functionalities (Full Stack development).
- Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other developers.
- Write clean, testable, and efficient code with Laravel best practices.
- Participate in code reviews, stand-ups, and agile development processes.
- Optimize applications for speed, performance, and scalability.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues across multiple browsers and platforms.
- Manage databases using MySQL or similar technologies.
Requirements of Stack Laravel Developer
- Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer with Laravel (3+ years preferred).
- Strong understanding of PHP and Laravel ecosystem.
- Experience with Vue.js, React, or similar frontend frameworks.
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive design principles.
- Comfortable working with Git, Docker, and modern DevOps tools.
- Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, and third-party integrations.
- Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar databases.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
- Must be located in Southeast UK and eligible to work in the UK.
Nice to Have in Stack Laravel Developer
- Experience with Tailwind CSS or Bootstrap.
- Knowledge of test-driven development (TDD).
- Familiarity with AWS, DigitalOcean, or cloud-based hosting solutions.
- Previous experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
