Role Overview of Web UI Developer
As a Web UI Developer, you will play a key role in transforming design mockups and wireframes into responsive, high-performance web interfaces. You’ll work closely with designers, back-end developers, and product managers to deliver front-end solutions that are both visually stunning and technically robust.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of front-end development best practices, web accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility. You should be proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks such as React, Vue.js, or Angular.

Key Responsibilities of Web UI Developer
- Develop responsive and accessible web user interfaces based on design specifications and wireframes
- Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and relevant front-end frameworks
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement visually appealing and user-friendly features
- Optimize applications for maximum speed, performance, and scalability
- Ensure code quality through testing, debugging, and peer reviews
- Maintain brand consistency and ensure seamless user experiences across all platforms
- Work closely with back-end developers to integrate APIs and dynamic content
- Stay current with emerging technologies, tools, and trends in front-end development

Required Skills & Qualifications of Web UI Developer
- 2+ years of professional experience in a front-end or UI development role
- Proficient in HTML5, CSS3 (SASS/LESS), and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
- Hands-on experience with one or more JavaScript frameworks/libraries such as React, Vue.js, Angular, or Svelte
- Strong understanding of responsive and mobile-first design principles
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integration techniques
- Experience with version control systems like Git
- Good understanding of accessibility (WCAG) standards and SEO best practices
- Ability to write clean, reusable, and modular code
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for user experience
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
- Familiarity with design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch
Preferred (but not required) of Web UI Developer:
- Experience with TypeScript
- Knowledge of web performance optimization tools and techniques
- Experience with CMS platforms like WordPress, Contentful, or Sanity
