Are you an experienced Legal Counsel with expertise in Swiss and/or US law? This exciting opportunity offers a competitive salary of US$60K–US$110K (£47K–£87K) annually in the UK. Legal Counsel are seeking a dedicated legal professional to provide expert guidance on corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters across international jurisdictions.
Role Overview of Legal Counsel:
The Legal Counsel will play a key role in advising on Swiss and US legal frameworks, supporting business operations, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering sound legal advice and managing legal risks in a corporate environment.
Key Responsibilities of Legal Counsel:
- Provide legal advice on commercial contracts, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts across multiple jurisdictions.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure legal requirements are met.
- Stay updated on changes in Swiss and US laws and regulations.
- Manage legal risks and ensure the business operates within legal frameworks.
- Support mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions.
Skills & Qualifications of Legal Counsel:
- Qualified lawyer in Swiss and/or US jurisdictions.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of legal experience in corporate or commercial law.
- Strong knowledge of Swiss or US regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in managing cross-border legal matters.
