As a Senior Account Executive, you will play a crucial role in driving new sales, managing customer accounts, and ensuring client satisfaction. You will be responsible for generating new business, developing relationships with key stakeholders, and exceeding sales targets. Job Responsibilities of Senior Government Account Executive
- Drive new sales by leveraging a contact list to generate leads and secure business opportunities.
- Meet and exceed monthly sales, renewal, and churn targets.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers to drive account growth and satisfaction.
- Conduct account analysis to identify upsell and renewal opportunities.
- Welcome new customers, review service agreements, and provide support for any inquiries.
- Maintain a deep understanding of products and services to deliver top-notch customer service.
- Ensure data accuracy through extensive data entry, system navigation, and account maintenance.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer concerns and enhance the customer experience.
- Successfully complete ongoing training to stay updated on sales strategies, products, and company policies.
- Maintain high ethical and professional standards in all customer interactions.
- Support team initiatives and contribute to a positive, inclusive work environment.
Qualifications of Senior Government Account Executive
- High School Diploma or GED (Required).
- Bachelor’s Degree (Preferred).
- 2-4 years of experience in selling to government (state and local) accounts.
- Less than 2 years of experience in customer service, business markets sales, wireless industry sales, telesales, or technical sales.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Exceptional attention to detail, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Must be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States.
- No travel required for this position.
Compensation and Benefits of Senior Government Account Executive
- Total target cash pay range: $147,600 – $266,300 (inclusive of target incentives).
- Base pay range: $88,560 – $159,780.
- Actual compensation may vary based on location, experience, and qualifications.
