Data Analytics is seeking a Manager, Data Analytics, to lead data-driven strategies in a fully remote, US-based role. This position focuses on leveraging big data, machine learning, and predictive analytics to drive business decisions, optimize performance, and improve customer engagement.
The Data & Analytics team consists of Data Analytics , data engineers and analytics engineers working to build the most effective platform and tools to help uncover opportunities and make decisions with data here at Mediavine. We partner with Product, Support, Ad Operations and other teams within the Engineering department to understand behavior, develop accurate predictors and build solutions that provide the best internal and external experience possible.
In this role, you will also manage and mentor a team, ensuring best practices in data governance, security, and compliance. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related field, with a strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).

Strong expertise in SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Power BI, and cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) is required.
In addition to hands-on analytics, you will mentor and manage a team of data professionals, fostering a data-driven culture. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or related fields, with a passion for big data, AI-powered solutions, and automation.
Key Responsibilities of Data Analytics
1. Data Strategy & Analytics of Data Analytics
- Develop and implement data-driven strategies to improve business performance.
- Oversee data collection, integration, and analysis of structured and unstructured data.
- Use machine learning models and AI-driven insights to predict trends and optimize business processes.
- Data Analytics: Design and implement KPI dashboards and visualization tools to track performance.
- Lead A/B testing and statistical analysis to improve decision-making.
2. Leadership & Team Management of Data Analytics
- Manage and mentor a team of data analysts and data scientists.
- Collaborate with engineering, marketing, finance, and product teams to align data strategies with business goals.
- Establish best practices for data governance, security, and compliance.
- Provide executive leadership with data-driven reports and strategic recommendations.
3. Business Intelligence & Reporting of Data Analytics
- Leverage BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, etc.) to generate actionable insights.
- Automate reporting processes and improve data accessibility across departments.
- Conduct deep-dive analytics on customer behavior, market trends, and sales performance.
4. Predictive Analytics & Machine Learning of Data Analytics
- Develop and deploy predictive models for revenue forecasting, risk assessment, and customer segmentation.
- Utilize AI-powered tools to improve efficiency in data processing.
- Optimize data pipelines and workflows for real-time analytics.
5. Data Governance & Compliance of Data Analytics
- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with industry regulations (GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, etc.).
- Establish and enforce policies for data accuracy and quality control.
- Work with IT teams to ensure a scalable and secure data infrastructure.
Requirements & Qualifications ofData Analytics
Essential Skills & Experience in, Data Analytics
- 5+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, R, and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, etc.).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) for data processing.
