Regional Social Media & Digital Content Manager

Job Overview
The Regional Area Manager, Social Media & Digital Content will play a pivotal role in managing the daily execution of content production for multiple parks within the West Region. Reporting to the Regional Manager of Social Media and Digital Content, this individual will be responsible for creating visually compelling and engaging content across various digital platforms, including social media, blogs, and newsletters. The primary focus will be on driving brand visibility, enhancing audience engagement, and ensuring alignment with company goals and regional branding strategies.
This role requires a creative and strategic thinker with a passion for storytelling, a keen eye for design, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of social media trends, content creation tools, and performance analytics.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Creation & Production:
- Develop and produce engaging written, visual, and multimedia content for social media platforms, blogs, and newsletters across multiple parks.
- Design graphics, illustrations, and promotional materials that adhere to brand guidelines and resonate with target audiences.
- Ensure all content aligns with the brand’s voice, tone, and messaging while maintaining regional relevance.
- Social Media Management:
- Manage and maintain an editorial calendar to plan, schedule, and deliver content efficiently.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to brainstorm and implement content ideas that support promotional campaigns, park activities, and seasonal events.
- Monitor and analyze organic social media performance metrics to identify trends, measure success, and make data-driven adjustments to enhance campaign effectiveness.
- Brand Consistency & Innovation:
- Maintain a consistent brand identity across all digital channels, ensuring content reflects the company’s values and regional branding.
- Stay updated on the latest design trends, tools, and software to ensure high-quality and innovative output.
- Experiment with new content formats and strategies to keep the brand fresh and engaging.
- Collaboration & Communication:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, PR, and park operations, to align content strategies with broader business objectives.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of campaigns and initiatives.
- Provide regular updates and reports to the Regional Manager of Social Media and Digital Content, highlighting achievements and areas for improvement.
- Performance Analysis & Optimization:
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the success of content campaigns and initiatives.
- Use analytics tools to gather insights and make informed decisions to improve audience engagement and reach.
- Continuously refine strategies based on performance data and industry trends.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Social Media, Journalism, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: 1–3 years of experience in developing content for digital platforms, with a strong portfolio showcasing creative and engaging work.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant design tools.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a customer service mindset and the ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences.
- Organizational Skills: Strong time management and organizational abilities, with the capacity to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaboration: Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work culture.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social).
- Knowledge of video editing and animation software.
- Familiarity with SEO best practices and email marketing strategies.
- Understanding of paid social media advertising and campaign optimization.
