Job Responsibilities for Web Developer
As a .NET Web Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining web applications and APIs. Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and maintaining critical APIs that serve multiple development teams
- Working on .NET MVC and .NET Core web applications to support business objectives
- Utilizing JavaScript, jQuery, C#, Bootstrap, and Kendo UI for front-end and back-end development
- Writing secure, scalable, and maintainable code following industry best practices
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements and deliver quality solutions
- Using GitHub for version control, participating in code reviews, and maintaining repository integrity
- Implementing security best practices with OAuth and OpenID Connect
- Working with SQL Server, writing complex queries, and developing stored procedures
- Supporting applications running in IIS and troubleshooting performance issues
- Following test-driven development methodologies and implementing automated testing
- Managing and balancing competing priorities from multiple stakeholders while delivering quality solutions
Required Skills & Experience for a Web Developer
To excel in this role, you should have:
- 8+ years of experience with Entity Framework and .NET Core
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with REST APIs
- 8+ years of full-stack development experience
- Strong familiarity with OAuth and OpenID Connect
- Experience in security applications development
- Knowledge of n-tier architecture and WebAPI
- Familiarity with SQL Server and stored procedures
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a remote environment
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Skills & Additional Qualifications of a Web Developer
While not required, the following skills will be an added advantage:
- Experience with LDAP and authentication coding
