Your Role & Key Responsibilities of Sales Estimator & Marketing
As a Sales Estimator & Marketing Specialist, you will play a critical role in our business by preparing precise cost estimates, generating leads, and driving sales through innovative marketing strategies. Your main responsibilities will include:
1. Estimating & Proposals
- Review blueprints, specifications, and client requirements to develop accurate cost estimates.
- Prepare competitive bids and proposals for construction projects.
- Work closely with clients to understand project needs and provide tailored solutions.
2. Sales & Client Engagement
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and suppliers.
- Lead negotiations and close sales deals effectively.
- Identify potential leads and convert them into long-term business opportunities.
3. Market Research & Analysis
- Conduct in-depth market research to identify industry trends and competitor strategies.
- Analyze sales data to improve estimating accuracy and business strategy.
4. Social Selling & Digital Marketing
- Utilize LinkedIn and other social media platforms to generate leads and engage with potential clients.
- Create compelling marketing content to enhance brand visibility and attract new customers.
- Implement SEO and social media strategies to improve digital presence.
5. Documentation & CRM Management
- Maintain detailed records of estimates, sales activities, and customer interactions.
- Use CRM and estimating software to manage and track project progress efficiently.
What You Need to Succeed in Sales Estimator & Marketing
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented professional who possesses the following skills and experience:
Essential Skills & Experience of Sales Estimator & Marketing
- Construction Knowledge – Proven experience in estimating for construction projects, with a solid understanding of materials, labor costs, and project workflows.
- Sales & Negotiation Skills – A strong background in sales, particularly using social selling and digital marketing techniques.
- Analytical Thinking – Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to create accurate cost estimates.
- Strong Communication Skills – Excellent verbal and written communication skills to present proposals and engage with clients effectively.
- Digital Proficiency – Experience using CRM systems, estimating software, and social media platforms to drive business growth.
Preferred Qualifications for Sales Estimator & Marketing
- At least 3+ years of experience in construction sales or estimating.
- Experience using LinkedIn and digital marketing tools for business development.
- A qualification in construction, estimating, or sales is advantageous but not required.
