Remote LPN Support for Triage Team – Sarasota Office Opportunity
Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team in the Sarasota office. In this hybrid remote role, you will provide essential support to nurses and care managers, assisting with a variety of administrative and clinical tasks. This position offers the flexibility of working remotely while maintaining strong collaboration with your in-office colleagues, helping to ensure high-quality care for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
As an LPN in this role, you will assist with a wide range of tasks designed to support nurses, caregivers, and clients. You will:
- Provide administrative support by helping nurses and care managers with various tasks such as scheduling, coordinating care, and handling documentation.
- Offer outstanding customer service to clients and caregivers, addressing their inquiries and ensuring their needs are met efficiently and effectively.
- Use your critical thinking and problem-solving skills to resolve issues that arise over the phone, ensuring smooth communication between clients, caregivers, and the healthcare team.
- Accurately document client interactions, care plans, and communications, ensuring all records are up to date and compliant with healthcare regulations.
- Collaborate with nurses and caregivers to coordinate care requirements, ensuring that clients receive the appropriate services at the right time.
Required Skills
To be successful in this role, you must possess the following skills:
- A valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) certification in the state of Florida.
- Current CPR certification.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients, caregivers, and team members.
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to manage complex situations and inquiries.
- Organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all tasks, especially in client documentation.
- Proficiency in computer usage and experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Ability to work independently while also being a collaborative and supportive team member.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will meet the following qualifications:
- At least one year of nursing experience is required. Experience in home health is preferred, but not necessary.
- Completion of an accredited LPN program is required.
